Distractions

In our world, there are some not good things. The grandfather of these is named Lucifer(most commonly known as Satan). The mother of all bad things is named Distraction. Drinking, dating the wrong people, lying, stealing--''it's 'cool'''. So, of course, you do it. Our human nature wants to be liked. We want to fit in. Why? We get distracted. We enter a race. ''Creamy soda, yummy Cola!'' "Crunchy, munchy, Munchos!'' "crunch, crack, rip, snap: Kit Kats'' "ne-night only: special premiere edition: Your Favorite Movie!'' Grunt. You know all too well you should ignore the--what?--distractions! No, say no to the alcohol! No to the ignore-your-Bible feelings! No to the wrong date! No to the non-faith-exercising desires! Keep your eyes on your prize--better than the $1,000,000 prize you won last year, better than an Extreme Home Makeover you won last July--it's meeting your Creator, Jesus Christ, and spending an eternity with Him in His perfect home!! Practice your faith! Exercise your faith! Read your guide book! Keep your eyes on the prize!!!

Some instructions for Christians

  • Talk to God daily. He's with you right now, waiting for you to talk to Him. He's waiting on you.
  • Don't care what other people think about you. Only think about what God says about you. i know it's hard to stand out from your family, your friends, every other unbeliever, but you did give your life up. Trust God to help you. Joshua 1:9, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. I am the Lord. I will be with you always."
  • Live for God. Live For God. Live for God. Live for God. I could Just keep saying this! Do what God calls you to do. And do what God calls you to do. We all make up the body of Christ. What if we didn't have a leg? What if we didn't have a heart? It'd be pretty hard to do things, right? What if we had no preachers? What if I hadn't started this blog? It would be impossible to work. Think on that.
  • Pray more.
  • Read the Bible. God teaches and talks to you through His Word. It prepares you for what's ahead.
  • Pray even MORE!
  • DON'T forget about God! Think about Him all the time!!!
  • If possible, find a church. If you cannot, be sure to spend a day of rest with Him every week to learn, worship, and rest. But PLEASE be careful! Not all "Christian" churches are teaching the truth.
  • Confess your sins daily.God Knows your heart, but He want you to say it to Him as proof that you recognize that you were wrong.
All believers in Christ are "siblings". So if you have received Christ, you are my brother or sister. It is important for you to connect with your siblings. Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend." So if you and another believer get together, talk, and pray, it will help both of you to learn together.

First of all, I just want to thank everyone reading this for visiting my Jesus' blog-- I am just a reporter for Him. I pray that you believers in Christ will be encouraged, and that you who haven't accepted Christ will.
Please share this blog with others. May God bless you ALL in a mighty and powerful way.

Dear friends,
I write this not knowing if you will go with Jesus when He returns, or if you die first, if you will be going to heaven when you die. You may not want to read this, but I am pleading that you do; for I tell you this because I love you. How can I love who I do not know? The Holy Spirit gives me a love for others as He loves you.  I am concerned about your destiny: heaven or hell? But God loves you. More than you could love any thing, God loves you. He created you and I,and every thing in and out of this universe. Satan tempted Eve, And that brought problems to Earth. Before that every thing was perfect. Sin is bad. God is good. They cannot be more different. The cost of even the tiniest sin is death. And everyone knows they've sinned. It's just a thing we do in our life.So pretty much, we're all just a breath away from hell. Don't be scared when I mention hell. Just be aware of what I say. But good news for all of us sinners! Remember I said that God loves us more than anything? He does! So God sent his Son, Jesus, into the world. Unfortunately, we thought He was a bad man, for Him to say that He's God! They treated Him  horribly!!! But that was God's plan all along. He was crucified as a sinner. He gave His life as a sacrifice for us, so we could go to heaven and be with Him forever and ever. Kinda like one of those knight saving the princess and winding up dying himself stories, doesn't it? He was buried in a tomb, just like any body else 2,000 years ago. But if He stayed dead, what kind of God would He be??? Not my God, that's for sure! But He didn't. On the 3rd day of Him being dead, he got up and walked right out of His tomb!!! That's right! He paid for our sins. Romans 6:23~''The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.'' All we have to do is pray to Him, confessing our sins, accepting His awesome gift. Then we can live with our Savior and Risen Messiah. You are either for Him or against Him. I none of you will reject His gift. If you do not receive His gift, you will, when you die, go to hell. Or if Jesus comes back First, we will be left in a world of total chaos and evil (yes, even more than now--hard to imagine?).And who in their right minds would want that?! So don't put it off--we do not know the time of His return. He can take your breath away this very second. You may be saying,"How can God love a sinner like me? You don't know what I've done!" You're right--I don't. But I do know that God can do all things. Even as He was being killed, He said this to the killers,"Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." I know if that was me, that would be my last choice of words! Revelation 3:20,"I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my voice, let him open the door and I will come in...." Romans 10:13,"whoever will call on the Name of the Lord will be saved." I ave a very important question to ask you--and only you can do this-- do you want to be saved? If so, pray a prayer like this example from the bottom of your heart--a prayer is just you talking to God.
Dear God, I know that I have sinned, and that separates me from You. I believe that You died in my place, and rising on the third day. I believe that You forgive and forget my every sin when I pray and confess my wrong doing. I now ask You to be Lord of my life. Holy Spirit, come live in me, show me right from wrong, and do mighty things for You, God.  I no longer care what the world thinks of me, only what You think, Lord Jesus. I'm Yours. I love You and thank You. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
If you prayed that prayer, the Holy Spirit lives inside you now. He will be your guidance.
